Fiber to the Home Internet service is not available in all areas and requires an Optical Network Unit (ONU) supplied by SECV. The ONU is powered from your home so a UPS is recommended. Actual Internet speeds may vary and are not guaranteed. Rates are subject to change. Rates do not include franchise fees, FCC regulatory fees, or taxes. PA sales tax applicable to some rates and fees. Installation fees may apply.
A wireless router or Whole-Home Wi-Fi system is required. Customer may lease Plume Whole-Home Wi-Fi System from SECV or purchase their own router or Whole-Home Wi-Fi system.
* SECV offers unlimited data plans. However, SECV does monitor data usage at all hours, and its customers have agreed to ensure that their activities do not improperly restrict, inhibit, or degrade any other user's use of the service or SECV's ability to deliver and monitor the service, or SECV network resources. If determined through data monitoring that a customer's data usage has strained the ability of the network to perform optimally for other users then SECV reserves the right granted by the FCC to deploy network management tools that may affect that customer's Internet performance for a temporary period of time.
IP traffic sent to customers on ports TCP 25, TCP 80, TCP 443, TCP 445, TCP 1080, TCP 6667-6669, TCP 1433-1434, TCP&UDP 135-139, TCP&UDP 67 are blocked for security and network management reasons to minimize customer's computers from being virus infected through well known vulnerabilities and/or to avoid infected or hostile computers from affecting other users computers.
Customers will receive either 2 dynamic public IP addresses acquirable via DHCP or may receive 2 dynamic private IPs behind Network Address Translation (NAT) via DHCP. Customers that receive NAT'd private IPs will have all inbound ports blocked that are not opened as a result of an outbound request due to the operation of NAT.
TiVo Stream requires SECV Fiber to the Home Internet service. Streaming to devices is available on iPad and iPhone devices running iOS 12 or later and select Android devices running 6 or higher. Programming cannot be streamed outside your home Internet connection.
