Important Information About Changes to Your SECV Phone Service

At SECV, we want to ensure we are providing our customers with the best products and services available.

In the coming weeks we will be upgrading our phone system. This transition will affect all current phone customers and we strive to make the conversion as seamless as possible.

The upgraded system will be very similar to the one you are accustomed to, however, it will offer enhancements to many of the current phone features. Once the conversion has been completed, you will need to set up a new voicemail box using the steps detailed below. Unfortunately, your old messages will no longer be accessible once the phone conversion has been completed. If you have an alarm system in your home without cellular backup, it will become temporarily unavailable until the upgrade has been completed. If you are a web portal user you will also be required to register for our new advanced web portal at secv.user.alianza.com as the old portal will no longer be active.

Phone Upgrade Date Lookup

Enter your SECV phone number and zip code below to find out when your upgrade is scheduled.
Dates are subject to change, however you will receive an automated phone call one business day prior to your conversion.

Voicemail Setup
(Use Your Home Phone)

  1. Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.
  2. Enter the voicemail access code *84 from your home phone.
  3. When prompted, enter the default voicemail PIN of 1234 and press #.
  4. The system will prompt you to change your voicemail PIN.
  5. Enter your new voicemail PIN and press #. The PIN must be four (4) digits.
  6. Once your PIN has been changed, you are taken to the main menu.

Web Portal Setup

  1. Visit secv.user.alianza.com
  2. Enter your 16-digit SECV account number as the username.
  3. Enter the default password (first four (4) letters of account holder's first name in all capital letters, followed by first four (4) letters of the account holder's last name in all lower-case letters). e.g. JOHNsmit
  4. Select the Sign In button.
  5. The system will prompt you to reset your password.

If the first three (3) letters of your first and/or last name are less than four (4) characters for your default web portal password, please append zeros (0) at the end to complete eight (8) characters, e.g. JANEdoe0

Frequently Asked Questions

How will I know when I am scheduled to be converted to the new system?

You will receive an automated phone call one (1) business day prior to your conversion. If you have an email address on file, an email will be sent in the form of a work order on the day of the conversion.

Will my rate for phone service change?

No, the rate you pay for phone service will remain the same after the upgrade.
